Anyone who has dealt with Pregnancy Fatigue?
I’m in my sixth month of pregnancy and I have been extra tired. I wasn’t expecting to be tired yet for another month or so, being farther along. Has anyone else experienced this? I was extra tired when I first found out I was pregnant at like 4 weeks but that was due to my anxiety (such big news) not letting me sleep. Then the whole second month I was busy with vacation and summer activities so that had me tired but other than that I don’t know what to account it for other than me waking up at six in the morning and not being able to fall back asleep. I have so many appts, from OB appts to prenatal classes/parenting classes, getting ready for the baby, working every night-it goes on and on.

Yes. I am 32 weeks now and it has come back full force.
Has your doctor checked you for anemia? It’s a very common cause of pregnancy fatigue as your pregnancy progresses. That isn’t the case with me – but it was checked when I complained about it.
I’m 5 weeks along and I’ve been extremely tired. I went home for lunch and went to sleep and now I’m late getting back to work. Can’t wait until 5:00 so I can go home, take a shower, and go to bed!
yes! I am constantly tired. and it seems whenever I do work around the house my belly hurts badly, and I have to sit down the rest of the night.
Yes i was extremely tired as well, I’m 8 weeks and 4 days now and its starting to lessen up. However around the 3rd trimester it picks up again.
So that is why you probably are feeling tired again. This your body’s way of getting the sleep now because you will not be getting any when the baby gets here. Well not good sleep.
Good luck with everything
i was really tired in my first few months now i have way more energy and im 5 month but i have’nt gotten that far yet so im not not sure but i heard that the futher you get the less energy you have because the baby takes more nutrients !! hope i could help
I think if your busy that could account for being tired. You should have your doctor check your iron, because I was very tired during pregnancy due to anemia.
Maybe u need to cut down some of ur activities and get some rest. If its not that then maybe u should speak with ur doctor on ur next appt. I felt the same way and I had to take iron pills.
Well you should probably lighten your load a little. I know what you mean about the anxiety. I too have an anxiety disorder so between that and being pregnant its always exhausting. All throughout my pregnancy I sleep odd hours but still get 8 hours of sleep at night and possibly a 1 or 2 hour nap during the day.. Once I was around 6 months the fatigue came back horribly. I basically don’t do much during the week except clean the house and watch tv, sit on the computer as theres really nothing to do around the house except get the babies room ready but me and my husband are going to do that together. But I do a lot on the weekends when hes home we do things around the house, have weddings or showers to go to. Always something so they aren’t as relaxing as my weekdays lol. But it works for me.. The relaxing all week gives me the energy on the weekends. Occasionally I do things during the week and those are days I am extra tired. So you need to take care of yourself and maybe cut back on some of the unnecessary things. If you wake up at 6 try going to bed a bit earlier so you still get the right amount of sleep. I go to bed at 2 or 3 am and wake up at 10 or 11 am, Usually take a nap around 3 or 4 pm and wake up by 5 or 6.. It works good for me. You just have to get yourself on a schedule and leave time to relax. Your pregnant so you dont need an excuse!! lol. Congrats!
I am 29 weeks and I just started getting fatigued again within the last week or so. I seem to be so busy all week long that I am literally falling (ungracefully) into bed at night. Twice last week I had to lay down on the couch for 30 minutes in the afternoon to make it through the rest of the day. I am not anemic, nor do I have any thyroid or other hormone/endocrine issues. I am simply pregnant and tired
