Can you get postnatal depression 7 months after the birth?
I’ve been a single mum since the day my daughter was born, up until now I have been fine, but lately I have no energy, i’m always tired and i just feel miserable all the time. I love my daughter to bits but I noticed I felt a better in myself when I had a bit of time too myself. Is this mild PND? Thanks
I have also lost weight recently too (unintentionally)

THe best thing to do is go to your doctor and discuss your recent change in mood and feelings with him/her. They will be able to give you a proper diagnosis.
Yes, you can.
I think I did, but really I think what I had would be better termed “Sleep Deprivation Depression” lol…
But seriously, yes, you can.
I don’t know if you breastfed or not if you did hormones are still (even if you did not) going through some serious changes. I would talk to your doctor and request that s/he check your hormone levels estrogen, progesterone, and thyroid to make sure they are all at optimal levels before diagnosing you with depression. Many times people are diagnosed with depression and put on antidepressants without knowing that they are producing too much or not enough certain hormones. After that is ruled out then consider depression.
