Slight cramping is totally normal. I had really bad cramping, like 5 times as harsh as when my period was on its way, last week. Also, the sonogram and LMP being several weeks apart is probably normal because they usually go by your LMP which is what you tell them, but the sonogram is a more accurate way to determine the baby's age, regardless of when you remember your last period being. Best of luck and congrats!

It is not unusual to have a little cramping and some brown spotting in your first trimester. Fibroids can also cause some bleeding. Fibroids can be troublesome in pregnancy if they are big enough. Call your OB and tell them what your are experiencing.

Sometimes it is normal to experience some spotting during pregnancy. The doctors say its due to the embryo attaching itself to the uterus. I personally haven't experienced any spotting, and I'm sure that your fine but maybe you should check with your OBGYN just in case, the cramping though is normal, i had it so bad in the beginning that i could barley walk sometimes. So hang in there, and talk to your doctor, that's what they are there for.

I am pregnant with my second right now and I had brown spotting with cramping at the begining of both pregnancies. I would call your OBGYN and let them know what is going on. Try not to worry, unless your spotting gets heavier and red not brown.

Also, when I was pregnant with my son they could not find a heartbeat at his 9 week appt. They told me to expect to miscarry. I went back in a week later and they found it no problem.

Try to relax and not stress. I know it can be scary.
