My wife’s been taking Nature’s Plus vitamins throughout and after her pregnancy. We’ve compared this brand against other Prenatals, and have found Source of Life to have a more generous serving of vitamins than its competitors. The price is also reasonable, when compared to purchasing vitamins at a typical ‘Vitamin Shop’.
There’s not really much more I can say about the vitamins, except that the ordering process was very easy and the product was delivered in an expeditious manner.

I have been taking these prenatals through out my pregnancy (9 months!) and plan on continuing to use this supplement through out breast feeding, as you and the baby continue to need the same nutrients. I use 2 tablets per day and flax seed oil capsules for EFA’s. My energy is still high and immune system has been strong and able to fight off the seasons colds/flus. I tried several other brands in the beginning and ended up with an upset tummy, bad after taste and a really difficult time swallowing some of them. These are easy to swallow, no funny taste afterward, easy to digest and provide all the vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy pregnancy and they are derived from natural sources, no funky stuff! Great for vegetarians too! The price is moderate and when you can pick them up on sale, even better!

I have trouble swallowing large pills, and I also want to avoid unnecessary additives/colors/preservatives in my vitamins – I did a lot of research and finally found that Source of Life prenatals fit the bill. Also, all the Vit A is from beta carotine (I understand other sources of A may be harmful early on in pregnancy, in high doses). They are still pretty large vitamins, but if I take them with pulpy juice or milk I have no trouble at all. They recommend taking 2 per day but I take just 1 – I get the 400 mcg of folic acid, and I try to eat healthily enough that I get enough of my other nutrients through my diet.

These were the only prenatal vitamins I could keep down. It helps that you take two tablets during the day so you can avoid getting all the vitamins at once, and thus also avoid getting sick to your stomach.
