PLEASE HELP!! My anxiety is getting the best of me!! First pregnancy and NERVOUS about EVERYTHING!?
If anyone has advice I’d greatly appreciate it as I’ve been losing sleep over these darn prenatal labs!
I got them done last Thursday its now mid tuesday .. is it safe to say that if something was urgently wrong and they needed to see me ASAP I would’ve already been notified. I’ve been told 24-48 hours on average.
Can anyone help put my mind at east, my anxiety is just sky high! Its my first pregnancy and I’m just nervous about EVERYTHING!

I doubt anything is wrong but you can always call your doctor and ask. They will let you know if they got them back yet or not.
Most doctors will not call if everything was fine, only if something was wrong.
If they told you that the results would be in anywhere between 24 -48 hours, and they haven’t called you, then everything is fine.
its normal to worry about the baby, whether its your first or 10th. If they told you 24-48 hours and its been 2 business days I doubt anything is wrong. Take a deep breath, pray if you do or it helps, and remember there is only a small percentage of those tests coming out with bad news!
If you are that freaked out – contact the doctor and ask about your results. You are about to be a parent – you no longer have the luxury of sitting back and letting it go – you have to be on top of things! Pick up the phone…

Well if the doctors didn’t call you from 24-30 Hours.. then every thing’s fine! Don’t worry!
Yes it is safe to say everything is fine. My doctor told me that after labs, if something was wrong they would call me within 24-48 hours. If I didnt get a call, its means everything is fine. You really need to stay clam and stress free. That much stress is really bad on you and the baby. If you just cant relax about it call the office and ask them for the results. Good Luck, im sure everything is just fine!
My doctor always told me that if theirs nothing wrong with my test that they would tell me the results at my next appointment…U know what they say no news is good news. Try not to stress cuz stress is also not good for the baby and just take it easy…Best of luck with the pregnancy
I was told that I would not know how my labs were until my next appointment if you are that worried though hunny you should call the doctors office and ask them if there is a way you can find out about your labs. It is normal to feel that way but I am pretty sure it will be fine. Good luck.
Have you tried calling the office to see if the results are in yet? I’m sure they would call you right away if anything came back that was alarming. I know it’s easier said than done but you need to try to relax, stress is not good for you or your baby.

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.
