Severe anxiety at 7 monthes pregnant?
Everything is giving me anxiety, i dont know if its my hormones or what. I never had morning sickness and now I have to force my self to eat, I have completley lost my appitite. I hate it. I am taking prenatal vitamins. When I try to eat i even get anxious. This anxiety came out of nowhere. I have lost about ten pounds and I am very worried. Today i was at the mall and passed out. I hate feeling like this everything makes me anxious, eating driving, being around a lot of people. I have never been like this before in my life. I took zoloft and got off it 2 monthes ago and anxiety came back. And I had to get back on a low dosage of it. I try breathing differant ways but that doesnt really help. I am really scared my baby will starve or something and I dont want to loose her. My question is did anyone else have severe anxiety when they were pregnant and did their babys turn out ok? People tell me jus to calm down but depression and anxiety isnt like that its a mental disorder and its not as easy as it sounds. The most I get eat durning the day is a bowl of cereal. I am really scared.
is there any medication I can take to make me crave food? I have lost any craving to eat anything:(

yeah you really need help. talk to you obgyn dr, tell them what’s going on. you are not eating enough calories for the baby to be healthy. you have to do something asap. what about drinking shakes? could you tolerate drinking ensure or even milk with carnation instant breakfast mixed in several times per day? you have to try something right away.
I have clinical depression and anxiety. I take Laxapro everyday. The last time and this time I’m pregnant they had to up the dose for a the duration of the pregnancy. You should talk to your doctor about maybe going up in dosage of your Zoloft. Good luck and try your best to keep something down for your baby.
I had this too when I was pregnant. I had to force myself to eat. Sometimes I had such bad anxiety that I threw up everything, but I had to force myself to eat more. The better care you take care of yourself now the better off sweet baby will be. I know it’s hard and very scary being pregnant! I drink Sleepy Time Tea when I get all nervy I don’t know how the herbs would affect you while you’re pregnant though. I would go for a walk. Play a calm game of some kind. Watch your favorite show if you can. Take a shower. Try all kinds of calming things to see what works for you. I’ve been battling anxiety for about 3 years now. Meds never worked for me! I hope I helped some.
I know it’s really hard, but you just have to try to calm yourself down and force yourself to eat. You have to take care of yourself.
I had a similar problem at about the same time. I got really depressed and started having anxiety
attacks. I don’t know why, because I wasn’t really “worried” about anything in particular, but it was
about the same time where I really felt pregnant and maybe our subconscious.
I think you just really need to talk to your doctor. She will be able to help you, its not that uncommon in pregnancy and therapy and/or medicine can help. Stress and anxiety can affect the fetus if you let it go on for too long.
It’s better to seek help now. Maybe its just something that will pass, like mine did, but it really could turn into something bigger. Also if it did your chances of experience postpartum depression goes up.
