Instead of pictures it has poor drawings, it is hard to see exactly in some cases.
I found the books a lot more explicit and more descriptive.
I returned it the same day I got it. Very disappointed with it.

I got this when I was pregnant. I opened it, looked at the cards, put it away to never see again. Maybe I didn’t give it enough effort, but I didn’t see how this would work.

I think you are hard-pressed to call this a yoga deck. It is more like variety of stretches. I actually have some yoga experience, but most of these poses were unfamiliar. When I started out I ended up pulling a muscle because it is hard to tell if you are doing the stretches correctly because it is not a video. I imagined that it would contain different poses or variations for the different trimesters, but really almost all of the poses can be done during all the trimesters. I got this early on in my pregnancy and, as I said, pulled a muscle with it and then quit altogether. I am actually quite regretful I purchased this because I think, had gotten an actual video, I probably would have used it regularly as I do enjoy yoga and did use yoga videos fairly consistently before pregnancy. I would say stay away from this deck.

I was so stiff and achy up until I purchased these cards and started using them on a daily basis. I was so thankful to learn new positions that would provide some comfort to all of the necessary areas that were in desperate need. These cards give you breathing techniques and light meditation practices to use as well. A terrific gift for any woman that is expecting.

This is a pretty simple review in that I truly have benefited from this product. Initially I thought it didn’t have enough regular yoga poses and had too much about posture and breathing and simple stretches and poses. Shortly into my pregnancy though I started to have quite bad lower back and butt pains, due to the baby being too low. I found that all of the breathing and more simple poses helped more than anything else could have. I strongly recommend this book for pregnant women looking for either something to help relax their body or something to help stretch out sore areas. I also loved some of the meditation mantras for when I was having a really tough day and was “frustrated” with being pregnant. Anyhow, if you have a difficult pregnancy at all this is definitely the book for you, or “deck of cards” should I say!!
