USA- Do you realize that when health care blocks abortion, your taxes will skyrocket for welfare needs?
Blocking abortion means Billions of tax dollars going to millions of unwanted pregnancies, prenatal care, hospital birthing, and then after birthing stays, post natal care, child health care, foster programs, orphanages, mothers and fathers welfare, child welfare, food stamps, night school for parents who dropped out, health care for those who attempted to abort at home, ect.
We will all have to pay more taxes to cover the rise in child abuse cases that come with unwanted children. We will all have to use our tax dollars to pay for anti depression, and anti stress, and many other things that come with either raising a kid you hate, or giving your baby to an orphanage.
We will have to pay our police more because there will be more crime, including more abandoned babies in rivers, and dumpsters, and public bathrooms… (Is this really more humane than aborting?)
Is this what America needs right now? Do we need to pay for this too?
Penguin, go back to bed, it’s 2am!
Da boyz, they are also blocking insurance from paying for it. That means we get stuck paying for their kids. Do you want to feed and cloth them, and their parents? You’re going to. And you are not going to have a choice.
Satan, this will cost tax payers because taxpayers still have to pay for all other healthcare! And taxpayers pay for the police! And tax payers pay into grants for parents to go back to school! The numbers of people pulling money for these things will go WAY up.
They wont be able to pay for abortions without money! Thats the whole point! There wont be many people to provide the services, and the option to pay out of pocket will either be impossible (for many women and men who don’t want to be fathers, but wont have a choice) or it will be compounded with extra fees. Right now millions of women ARE covered by their health insurance plans. The CAN get them now. That is about to end.
…Which means we get stuck with the bill for their welfare, health care, and child care. – instead of just an abortion bill.
Colonal Reb, it doesn’t matter that you aren’t paying for abortions right now. They are blocking abortion from being covered by other insurance. (It’s in the bill) That means we cover it, or the abortions don’t happen.
Colonal Reb, it doesn’t matter.
When this bill passes you will have to either pay for abortions or pay for pregnancy, and the children that come from them, and their parents welfare.
Since abortions are being blocked pay-wise, YOU are going to pay for their pregnancies, and their kids, and their welfare.
What you are paying now is much less than what you WILL have to pay very soon.
Bibigirl, not illegal, blocked.

Just how many abortions do you think we pay for now?
the health care thing wouldn’t block abortion, it would simply not pay for it. The people would have to pay for themselves.
How is that going to cost the taxpayer money? Feminazis are so full of sh*t it is unbelievable.
hahaha wow. no that isnt going to happen. “skyrocket”? why kill millions because you have to may a few more cents a day? o.O
honestly i don’t believe in abortions you are killing a life that YOU brought into the world it was that persons decision to have sex and they should have to deal with what they did and learn from them there’s no reset button on life so why give people second chances
now if the woman or girl was raped i feel that is a different story and should have the choice in abortion because they didn’t make the decision to have sex they were forced and why does it matter at least we know are money is going to something important cause right now our tax money is going to a bunch of bull shit
TLR
dude yes! I thought this exact same thing but when i tried to explain it to someone they like..just didn’t get it. Republicans want to do this so that “taxpayers aren’t forced to pay for abortions” fine then let em pay to keep the kids fed and clothed, etc… not that i support abortion but really… I’m sure if they thought it through they would much prefer saving the money and letting the women kill their babies. They care about money, not people. They think doing this will save them money, that’s the only reason why their doing it. But hey maybe its like a secret agenda. Maybe once we have all these kids and families in need of welfare they will say hey we just can’t pay for this anymore and use it as an excuse to cut back on welfare. conspiracy theories haha
I don’t think you know what you are talking about at all. It sounds as if you are making things up, and trying to pass yourself off as a socially conscious fiscally responsible “expert”.
Nah we will just get those responsible for fathering the babies to pay child support.
LOL @ penguin……………………………
More pro-choice scare tactics, and what a disgusting justification for taking innocent lives: kill the babies, it’s cheaper than letting them live, we can’t afford it. Ugh.
You know, back in the days before abortion was legalized, we didn’t see epidemic numbers of babies being thrown into rivers and dumpsters, or a higher crime rate, or more unwanted kids. Why would refusing to cover it under health care result in all that crap? It won’t.
Now, hold on a minute. These will not be huge problems if private charity does for low-income women what the government will refuse to do. Why can’t they be responsible for funding abortions? The fact is that the government will not pay for abortions no matter how much half of the country wants it, because the other half of the country will be paying for it whether they want to or not.
In response to another post, before abortion was legalized, it was very common for women to leave “foundlings” on church doorsteps or in other public places. It was also common for unwanted children to be sent to orphanages. The difference between then and now is that in those days, it was much cheaper to adopt highly desirable infants. I remember a history professor telling us in class that it cost her and her husband three hundred dollars to adopt two baby girls. This was in the early 1960s. Now, it would be upwards of around $50,000.
when the plan is to ruin the country, does the exact means really matter?
We don’t pay for abortions now. Rim shot.
Who said abortions are going to be illegal again? I haven’t heard anthing like that.
I seriously doubt that that many unwanted pregnancies would occur if abortion was blocked. I think people would take a lot more care with contraception if they knew they did not have the easy option of abortion to fall back on. It isn’t that difficult to avoid getting pregnant. I think th enumber of unwanted pregnancies would plummet if abortion was not readily available.
Nor do I belive that child abuse would increase if abortion was illegal. Abortion has been legal in the UK for over forty years, yet there has been no noticeable decline in child abuse. If anything, I think legalised abortion has probably made it worse, I do not believe encouraging people to see infants as disposable items has helped to improve the treatment of children. If anything I believe it has made it worse.
And frankly I’d rather pay to keep a baby alive than to kill it.
Yes. When this bill kicks in we will be required to cover women’s expenses. Either we pay for pregnancy, and birth, and everything after that, or we pay for the abortion. Since we are not paying for abortion, and women will have one H*LL of a job accessing it after the bill imposes penalties, and barriers, we will wind up paying for a LOT more babies. It sucks.
Yes, for a few years, but I’m thinking the supreme court will over turn the barriers. It’s ****** up that women’s health be banned while men’s reproductive rights go unrestricted, and fully funded. Do you realize this is the same country that provides free Viagra for convicted rapists? (*free* after state or federal insurance of course) If the country is going to fund rape, it really should fund abortion.
